Samsung has already started rolling out the Latest security patch update for its devices. Some of its Devices has already got the update and some have started getting the update. Currently Samsung has rolled out the latest April 2022's security patch update for two of its foldable smartphones which are Galaxy Z fold 2 and Z Fold 3. This information has been provided by some of our sources. According to the sources currently the update is only rolled out for the Carrier locked variants of both the smartphones. As we have discussed Samsung has started rolling out the April 2022's Security patch for its devices. The company has just rolled out the update for the carrier unlocked variants of Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Z Fold 3. Both the smartphones belong to the foldable series launched by Samsung. Our sources also specified that Samsung will soon be going to launch the update for the carrier unlocked versions of both the above mentioned smartphones may be within a couple of weeks.
Coming on towards some of the details about the latest Security Patch Update which will consists of the more than 80 Security vulnerabilities fixed and that's not it the update also consists of the stability improvisations with some of the bug fixes which were present inside both the mentioned Samsung phones. The update has currently released for US region. Both the smartphones belong to different carriers for which Samsung has rolled out the update.
The firmware version for the Samsung galaxy Z Fold 2 smartphone will be F916USQS2GVC8 which has been rolled out by Sprint mobile network over the US. Now coming on to the firmware version of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is F926USQS1CVCC which belong to the T-Mobile carrier in US. So if you are using any of the above mentioned Samsung Phone belong to their mentioned Carriers then you can start checking for the update in your Smartphones respectively. You can check for the update just by Navigating to Settings >> Software Update >> (if available) Download & Install.
