Google Pixel smartphones will soon get the Android 12L firmware this information has been confirmed by the company. Google has released the beta program for Android 12L firmware so that it can be tested properly by the beta testers. After the test the firmware will be released officially released for Google's Pixel Phones.


The firmware also focuses on the bug fixes with some performance improvisations. This firmware version doesn't consists of any new features instead it will have the performance enhancements. The Pixel users were facing some of the issues with their smartphones that's why Google has released the Android 12L firmware.

Some pixel phones have already started getting the Beta version of the update. As per the report the issues fixed in the Android 12L updates are Recent apps issue, App Switch gesture problem, Icon size reduction issue, Unlocking and locking issue and many others which were fixed in this update.


The devices which have started getting the Update of Android 12L are:

• Pixel 5 and 5a
• Pixel 4a and 4a (5G Version)
• Pixel 4 and 4XL
• Pixel 3 and 3 XL

Unfortunately Pixel 6 series is not in the list because it has already started getting new January's security Patch update which has fixed all the bugs in Pixel 6 Series. The update will soon be properly tested and officially released for its users worldwide. The expected date of release will be in March 2022 but is not officially confirmed for now. If you want to enrol yourself for the beta program than visit on Google's website for Registration so you will get the Beta version of Android 12L for the users of the listed devices.
